Cities Designed to Work for Women

October 3, 2017 | 6:00 - 8:00

About this Event

Women Transforming Cities is part of an international network of women who are using an intersectional lens to improve city space for inequitably served communities, with a focus on women and girls.  In partnership with World University Service Canada we are organizing an informational and networking event for those seeking to improve public spaces.

Leading urban planners and architects will showcase some wise examples of policies and projects that help make urban spaces work for women and girls:

Ann McAfee, FCIP, RPP, President of City Choices Consulting former Co-Director of Planning COV

Emilie Adin, MCIP, RPP, Director of Community Services City of North Vancouver

May So, Architect, Henriquez Partners Architects

Alexandra Kenyon, Architect HCMA Architecture + Design

Celene Fung, Facilitator, Board Member of Women Transforming Cities

Come and engage in an evening of sharing ideas and learning about innovative initiatives that make positive change in our communities.

Admission is free but we ask you to register in advance. Thank you.
